TARGETED COMFORT FOR EVERYDAY ACHES & CHRONIC PAIN

Experience versatile, deep-reaching pain relief with Polar Frost’s 5x5cm TENS electrodes — the ideal size for balanced coverage and targeted therapy across joints, muscles, and common pain zones. Designed for stability on curved areas like knees, shoulders, elbows, and the lower back, these premium hydrogel electrodes deliver consistent, comfortable stimulation to block pain signals at the source.

PAINS IT HELPS WITH:

1. Lower Back Pain (Lumbago):

  • How it Helps: The 5x5cm size is ideal for placing on either side of the spine over the lumbar paraspinal muscles or directly over a localized painful spot. The coverage effectively stimulates nerves in this common area of muscular strain, spasm, or arthritis pain, helping to block pain signals and release endorphins.

2. Shoulder & Neck Tension/Pain:

  • How it Helps: Easily conforms to the contours of the trapezius muscle (top of shoulder), the base of the neck, or the shoulder blade (scapula) area. Effective for treating stiffness, muscle knots (trigger points), rotator cuff strain (as adjunct therapy), and general tension headaches originating from the neck.

3. Knee & Elbow Joint Pain (Arthritis, Tendonitis, Bursitis):

  • How it Helps: The size allows placement above, below, or on either side of the knee cap (patella) or around the elbow joint. Stimulates nerves to reduce pain signals from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis (like tennis elbow or golfer's elbow), or bursitis inflammation.

4. Medium-Sized Muscle Groups (Calves, Forearms, Biceps, Triceps, Thighs):

  • How it Helps: Perfect size for targeting specific muscles like cramped calves, strained forearm muscles, sore biceps/triceps, or quadriceps/hamstrings. Effective for post-exercise soreness (DOMS), muscle strains, cramps, or general aches.

5. Localized Pain Sites (e.g., Post-Surgical Sites, Injuries):

  • How it Helps: Can be placed effectively around (not directly on wounds/incisions) surgical sites or injuries (like sprains) once cleared by a healthcare professional, to help manage acute pain during recovery.

Key Considerations:

  • Placement is Crucial: Effectiveness heavily depends on correct placement over the pain source or relevant nerve pathways. Consult placement guides or a physiotherapist.

  • Skin Preparation: Clean, dry skin ensures optimal adhesion and conductivity. Shaving may be necessary for very hairy areas.

  • Not a Cure: TENS provides symptomatic pain relief and should be part of a broader pain management plan as advised by a healthcare professional.

  • Safety: Avoid placing electrodes on the front of the neck, over the eyes, or across the heart. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, have epilepsy, a pacemaker, or other implanted electronic devices.
